About
2016 marks the seventh vintage of Ultraviolet Cabernet Sauvignon, by winemaker Samantha Sheehan of POE and Mommenpop.
Samantha's Pinot Noirs and Chardonnays have always been inspired by the wines of France, thus her California Cabernet project deserves a fitting title.
Ultraviolet is a homepage to the California climate where Sam grew up, and a pure expression of fruit ripened under the California sun.
Our Winemaker
Samantha has created and grown two other brands, POE Wines and Mommenpop Spirits. She was named one of Food & Wine Magazine’s “15 Women to Watch in Wine,” and has been featured in Bloomberg, Wine & Spirits Magazine (Best New Spirits with Mommenpop), the San Francisco Chronicle, LA Times, and many other publications.
